My approach to every workout is highly customized, comprehensive and effective, but most people don’t realize that the very finest and most intense exercise regimen can only contribute a mere 20% to your fitness goals, which is why I also specialize in placing life-changing emphasis where it really counts … nutrition. The very best trainer is not merely an athlete, model or “gym-rat” with a one-size-fits-all formula, but rather a fitness expert who understands YOU enough to bridge the gap between your fitness goals and your real life. I have been blessed with the greatest clientele anywhere. Each one is a fascinating person with their own set of unique strengths and special challenges. Identifying those strengths and challenges is what truly sets an excellent trainer apart from the crowd. I love training because it means I get the satisfaction of watching lives change. Which is why I love to serve as a your motivator, coach, work-out partner, cheerleader, nutritional counselor, part-time conscience, and most of all … your biggest fan.

Alexa Coombs

I became a certified personal trainer because I absolutely LOVE helping people. I find training completely empowering and unlike anything I have ever experienced. Being able to facilitate people with the tools to be the best version of themselves is one of the greatest powers that you can have. I always remind my clients that “I can give you all of the tools in the world to be the best you that you can be, but it’s up to you to use them”. Being able to make my clients cross that barrier and gain confidence in themselves, enough confidence so that they can make educated decisions in regards to nutrition and training makes me feel like a proud mama bear. If I can help educate my clients, and they can pass on that education or use it in every day life then I have done my job. One of the best parts of my job is watching clients evolve, drops pounds, lose body fat, and ALSO have them realize how much better they feel health wise overall. Training with me is a win win situation–You get a hot bod and a healthy heart! I am currently a Certified Personal Trainer by the National Council of Certified Personal Trainers, NCCPT. I am currently majoring in nutrition and dietetics at Cal State University Northridge with the ultimate goal of becoming a Registered Dietician.

I believe that when you set a goal, and truly commit to it, you commit to a lifestyle. You train not only your body, but you train your mind. Your discipline. And as you sculpt this discipline you begin to transform WITH your body. As you undergo this transformation, others will begin to notice. Some will be vocal about it, most will not. The end result will be the same. You will inspire others to action, and thus, through seeking to better yourself, you help better the world. My goal is to bring joy and fulfillment into the lives of others, and I believe that helping people develop the bodies of their dreams is the best way to facilitate that goal. My certifications include NASM, NASM WLS, NASM FNS, PTA global, and DotFit.
